It is just two days before Christmas, and hopefully, you are all wrapped and ready to go. If you are like me, a procrastinator with an unusually busy December, you are probably frantically trying to figure out where to shop so that you can be the most productive. Salem Street in Apex just may be your answer. This is wonderful news if you live in the Peak. I love that it is just a few minutes from my house and I don’t have to drive through a ton of traffic to get there. Walking up and down the sidewalks stopping at the unique boutiques with other happy shoppers keeps me in the Holiday spirit – even if inside we are all in a panic. I always find the perfect gifts for the special people on my list
I love Gone Stitching and their fancy frames, Scout bags, and Nora Fleming platters.
The Doodling Bug is a necessary stop for a cute t-shirt. They have so many with fun Southern phrases, making even my family up north want to wear one (perhaps if I get them enough of these shirts they will move here…).
I love Fedora too- the place to shop for the latest fashions, perfect for my trendy nieces!
Apex Outfitter and Board Co. is my favorite shop for my nephew Ethan. Although he lives in Massachusetts, he is a big fan of the store. He loves their comfortable t-shirts, beanies, and longboard gear. The store has everything for outdoor enthusiasts!
Okay – so I hope these ideas are helpful! I would love to write more about the treasures I find here in our wonderful town, but I need to go shopping!!! See y’all on Salem Street!
Stay tuned,, stay healthy, and stay Pretty in the Peak
